Kunal Shroff, an MD/PhD student in the Kampmann lab, received an F30 fellowship from the NIH National Institute on Aging (NIA/NIH). Kunal has developed an innovative CRISPR-based screening approach to uncover pathways controlling synaptic phenotypes. In his research, he uses this technology to elucidate the mechanisms that lead to synaptic loss in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease, which are potential new therapeutic targets. Congratulations, Kunal!!!
