Emmy Li awarded Fletcher Jones Fellowship

Kampmann lab graduate student Emmy Li was awarded the Fletcher Jones Fellowship by the UCSF Graduate Division. This competitive fellowship rewards excellence in research and is based on research accomplishments and potential for future contributions to the health science field. Emmy has previously characterized selectively vulnerable neurons in Alzheimer's Disease and is currently pioneering a CRISPR screening platform in 3D neuron-glia assembloids to answer questions such as the mechanism underlying the Alzheimer's risk gene APOE. Congratulations, Emmy!
